Updated Merch is Finally Here!!
First look at our new Merch store on Bonfire! (Don’t Forget Redbubble is still up!)
We are so excited that for May 6th we are launching our Bonfire Store! Along with our logo, the digital art created by Evelyn featuring her and Robert as hobbits will also be available. The logo and chibi shirts come in all your regular colors that go to help support and improve this podcast.
BUT WAIT! There are 3 tie-dye exclusive designs as well that are fundraisers (where all proceeds go to these non-profits) for several non-profits we at the Podcast support in honor of Tolkien’s views and values:
Reading Partners: The Reading Partners is a great organization across America that advances literacy education for everyone. Tolkien himself was an advocate of literacy and we picked the Reading Partners because of their effective work and great accountability record.
The Nature Conservancy: Tolkien was a great advocate for protecting the environment, as evident in his many works. Evelyn, as a conservation biologist, has been supporting the Nature Conservancy herself for years and felt this would be a great organization for this fundraiser.
The ACLU: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) works to provide legal help for equal rights, and Robert has been a long term supporter. Tolkien himself was pro-equality for all, even famously refusing to let his books be published in Germany under Nazi rule.
