Tolkien About It is a deep dive into all things Tolkien, hosted and produced by father-daughter duo Robert and Evelyn Lewis. Originally launched as a passion project to encourage Evelyn to finally read The Lord of the Rings, the podcast has grown into a broader exploration of Tolkien’s works.
Now in its fifth year, Evelyn has completed The Lord of the Rings, and the podcast is currently covering The Hobbit with guest hosts Amy Redman and Evelyn Mykelrose, who are experiencing the book for the first time. Robert, a longtime Tolkien scholar, has used Tolkien’s works in his Master’s and Doctorate papers and now works as an editor for several publications for the Tolkien Society.
Both Robert and Evelyn frequently discuss the podcast and all things Tolkien at conventions. The podcast is edited by Evelyn, with her personal brand, Comic Canary, serving as the Executive Producer.
